Actually, I shot a roll of Max 800 a few days ago, to test out the 180/2.8 and I was absolutely stunned by it. I am only looking at the 4x6" prints so it is not the best gauge, but it is very sharp, and no grain at all. I remember the 400 films having huge grains just 10 years ago.

Of course, it could just be the amazing zuiko lens :-)

I shot some pics with the 1600 and some of the shots are really excellent. Grain wise. I have a pic of a small alligator that you cannot tell it's indoor with a 1600 film.
