As once said, if once has nothing good to say, better not said. If must be
said, say so to the person concerned and in private. Just a good practice to
keep us in good order.

This list is composed of a large number of genuinely good hearted people, but
sometimes I just have to shake my head at some of the posts that pop up here
from time to time. Speaking as someone who has purchased OM gear from list
members in the past, and not being in a position to drop big $$$ on OM-3s,
OM-4tis and exotic glass, I must say that buying from list members is the only
way to fly. E-bay is at best a crap shoot, even for a knowledgeable buyer.
However, I have not once had any problems purchasing from a member of this
forum. From prior posts over the past several months, I know many others here
feel the same way. For the life of me, I don't understand why any of you would
want to ruin that by flaming someone who goes out of his way to help us. Tom's
prices are more than fair. Think you'll be able to find a mint OM-1n on ebay
for $185? Not if the seller knows what he or she is doing. There is a reason
why Tom has been a respected member of this list for so long. The vast majority
of people here like him and appreciate his efforts. The next time you want to
stand on a soap box or toss some barbs try to remember that.
