I'm pretty sure this whole story is an urban legend. It's been going around
the 'net with different peoples names attached for about the last 6 months,
with minor variations.

I thought the original poster said their CC was locked in a safe at home
since received six months ago. I got from the poster that he used it to set
up his PayPal acct, and hadn't used it anywhere else.
I may be assuming a bit too much, but I don't think so...
