[OM] life span of OM's

In my opinion, I don't think there are too many professional photographers on
this list that rely on photography for their livelihood.  Almost every piece
of Olympus equipment I have bought used, looks new........ So how many people
really use it, as opposed to talking about the equipment?  I don't take as many
photos as I would like, but after a year, most of my camera equipment shows
signs of wear, and I am careful with it.

I guess it's like record collecting:  buying a 50 year old vinyl record....
 it still sounds good.... Maybe it hasn't been used much in the last 50 
years....
it'll go 'round and 'round my record player for as long as I want it to.

Olympus OM cameras will work well enough (outlast us) for 990f us, as much
as we use them....  in my opinion.
