AFAIK it is not discontinued, at least not the S version. It just seems Olympus
Sweden stopped importing it this year (i.e. they withdraw it from their price
list). It is very unfortunate also because the last two years or so the
Centurion/S/ has been sold at a very favourable price here in Sweden (~2500 SKR 
at
photo mail order stores).

I presume you mean "quiet" Hans? Or was it "cute"?   ;-)
I guess the chance is Centurion is about as quiet and smooth in operation as the
iS-300.

Exactly how does this work Hans? This may seem like a stupid question, but I 
mean,
are you told by the camera to engage the flash when there's insufficient light?
Hopefully the CMOS sensor is rather light sensitive (as in iS-300) so that the
assist light doesn't have to be used very often. Anyway, this must also be the 
way
the simple line iS cameras work.
