Does iS-3000 really have a more powerful flash at all focal settings Hans? 
Isn't GN 18 at 28mm
better than GN 20 at 35 mm? I imagine the flash coverage of the lower GN 28 
tube on iS-3000 is
enough for the 70 tele mm position of the zoom lens, so a zoom adapter which 
could concentrate the
flash light would be useful at the extreme 180 mm tele position. Probably the 
GN 25 flash of the
iS-300 works about the same, but then you only have a max tele of 110 mm.
