What makes you think that Olympus OM hasn't have a cult following? The
biggest single group of them are right here on the OM List. Popular
Photography has acknowledged a cult following to the OM System for at
least 5 years now. Compare like equipment prices (used) between Nikon,
Canon, Minolta, Pentax and Olympus and it will help explain the
difference.
Anyone else notice that Leica equipment doesn't get sold very often?
Asking prices have gone too high.
There's a small truck load of used R3 bodies looking for new owners at
Leo's Cameras in downtown Vancouver, BC ! [as well as an much smaller
assortment of used R4, R6, and R7 bodies ........ no R6-2 and R8 bodies
:-(( ] Try and find a used single wind, s/n >1,000,000 M3 body in top
shape and you'll have hit pay dirt!!
