Hi!
I have an old uncoated tessar lens on a 3x4 Graflex SLR. The aperture
ring was very stiff. A squirt of WD-40 brought it to life after 40+ years
of non-use.
I bicycle, no car. I use WD-40 in the gallon size to clean of the
grunge. Sometimes folks in the bike shop tell me 'but it won't lubricate'.
However, it's a quality bike, the wheel hubs are sealed.
Cheers,
Rich Lahrson
