Allright!!! So my mistake wasn't that stupid after all... I must have missed
this particular message. Anyway - I just tried it, and *yes* it seems to work!
Taping the flash ready contact (the big contact on the right hand side) disables
the flash ready, flash ok signal and the 1/60 speed indicators, but the flash is
fired, and memo is not disabled. And you can indeed see the FP light, added to
available light, in action! The indicated shutter speed prior to the first shot
was about 1/125, after the first memo flash shot (taken indoors at F1.2 with the
F280 wide diffuser on 100 ASA film at less than 1 meter) the shutter speed was
set at 1/2000 sec!
