Now that would be something, wouldn't it? Since the OM-4Ti treats the F280's SP
light emission just like available light in Auto Mode, with the option to cut
down the shutter speed during exposure (OTF metering) when overexposure
threatens, one would think or hope that at least this mode supports the memo
function.
It doesn't. :( Of course, if the OM-4Ti supported memo flash, there would even
be more pitfalls than with available light memo. The flash could be switched off
in memo mode. Ok, that can be solved by immediatedly cancelling memo mode. But
the flash can also be not ready (or at least not completely charged) when the
shutter is pressed. Or the flash/subject distance is changed, making the stored
setting complete nonsense. I do understand why it is not supported but there
could be certain applications for it if it were.
