[snip tons of blah blah blah regarding SC vs MC]

The fact remains that our lowly SC Zuikos are still multicoated. Just not
with the numbers and fancy colors of the MC lenses. If you look at any
Zuiko SC lens you will see more than just yellow. I know that in a few
instances (24/2.8) there is a huge performance difference between the SC
and MC versions, but the later SC versions of the 50/1.4 and the MC
versions are nearly identical, with the exception of a stray color or two.

I fear that we might be getting a tad bit retentive over our reflections
here. I have only CLASSIC Zuikos in my collection (except for the
35/shift). Nothing but the silver-nosed versions are good enough for me.
<g> I suppose that I prefer the more "Leica" characteristics of the older
lenses than the newer "Nikon" like MC lenses.

Besides, I think the older Silver-Nosed SC lenses look better on an OM-1.
It kinda goes along with needing to use the Gossen Luna Pro with the Mamiya
Super 23 instead of my new fancy digital wonder-widget meter.
