"X" sync is for electronic flash and works at 1/60 or slower speeds. FP
stnc is for flashbulbs #26 and will work at any speed. I beleve the bulbs
are almost impossible to find today, and they were extremely expensive the
last time in a conventional flashgun. Hope this helps.
