Hello Susan,
If you're going to use Photoshop you probably don't need a background other
than something plain (a flat painted wall or an even toned sky) because by
using the Magic Wand tool you can select the background and press the Delete
key, when it will be changed to the colour of whatever you have selected in
the lower colour box. Alternatively, while the area is still selected, try
some of the plug in effects that come with version 4 (I have only used
version 3)
