Sound very valuable! FYI, I just today bought an SIF today, dated 4-82. It
is vastly different in format from the 1987-88 editions (which were undated,
three ring binder format). This one has perhaps thirty rings, with tabs at
the top of the pages rather than the sides. It fills in obsolete equipment
omissions from the 1987-88 edition I have, but still lacks a few items dropped
by 4-82, including the 200mm f/5 and 28mm f/3.5 Makes me wonder how many
other editions were produced. Incidently, it has great information on the
progress of multi-coating to date. Eevn includes a warning statement to
dealers that the cosmetic construction of the lenses will be in flux until all
appropriate lens get multicoated and the filter rings and retaining rings get
used up.

I'm eventually going to sell one of them, but not till I do a fair amount of
xeroxing. Also looks like I need a flatbed scanner if I want to contribute to
this effort.
