The 3.75 MB shown on you photo browser is the uncompressed size, the
file size on your hard disk is only 300KB. It is acceptable for 3R or 4R
prints, or course not for further enlargement. I think the sharper
background was due to the rough surface, but the softness on the model
can be improved by edges sharpening. Although software enhancement
cannot increase the resolution, but it will sure make the result looks
better.
