Interesting about the missing paint. I have a 200/4 I bought new about 1980
(an MC) and it has had some paint flaking on the hood. Not from wear as far as
I can tell, the lens is otherwise in excellent shape. Just flakes of paint
coming off the hood. Doesn't bother me much, as long as I dont want to sell it
(which I don't!). I was wondering if this is some kind of known problem with
these? All the other lenses I have are fine.
