Paul, this is a different situation.  Camera equipment will not warm up as
quickly as the surrounding air does.  You end up with the same thing if you
bring in your camera from the outside into a warm humid house.  (or go from
a nicely airconditioned house into hot humid outside air).

Thanks for the tip on the dew caps, though.  Very helpful information.
