So that's good, when the airport is closed down for days with endless
storms, you can take the light rail into town and get a decent hotel!

The Denver airport is carefully place at the confluence of all major
storms,
and is in the middle of Nebraska, about 20 miles from the Kansas City
airport, which suffers less from weather but more from bad architecture.
Yup. That's about right. But at least there is light rail out there now.
