Tongue-in-cheek no doubt John, but please re-consider what constitutes "a
few rolls of film" for Tina, who mentioned a few weeks ago that she had 6000
images in her current work-in-progress! Not even a Deutsche Bundespost
half-frame special would make much impression on that.

A Leica M6, a 35mm and a 50mm lens and a few rolls of film will avoid
all your worries about power storage other than having a spare battery
or two for the TTL meter. Worked for me when I strolled round Damascus
in late June 1971. My 35mm / f1.4 captured some lovely shots outside and
inside the Umayyad Mosque :-)
