I don't recall seeing anything directly related to "... sensor heating in
long exposures? Long exposure noise cancellation?"

I dunno about any specifics about sensor heating but I imagine that the temp
will rise as the exposure increases up to a certain point when equilibrium
is reached (heat in = heat dissipated).  This factor is likely to be very
specific to the sensor and the physical construction of the camera.

Did he get around to sensor heating in long exposures? Long exposure noise
cancellation?
