http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seattle_Underground> And if you generally like
old stuff, the surrounding Pioneer Square area should please you. There are
a couple of ancient restaurants there, one (still?) with dining areas a
floor down in excavated rooms from the old level - very atmospheric, good
food.

and a good meal at the Pike Brewing company. If you like museums, Seattle's
Art Museum is a nice one, as is the Frye Art museum. The nearby campus of
Seattle University is a pleasant place where I found some nice photo ops. <

wild parks along the water in the towns north of Seattle proper. If your
wife likes a bit of pampering, there is a womens' only spa that my wife and
a friend rave about. Could give you the chance to visit/shoot something
that bores her?

And if you do hit solid rain, just head out 95 over Snoqualmie Pass to
year-round sunshine and a whole different landscape.
