The histogram on my Canon 5DmkII is worthless. It, and the flashing
highlight warning often show that there will be overexposed areas, but
when I open the file in Lightroom, the exposure is perfect and there¹s no
clipping. If I believed the camera, I¹d underexpose a lot of my work. I
use a Minolta Flash Meter IV incident meter and it gives flawless
exposure. I just ignore the histogram now.
