Actually Apple is as much about software as hardware these days. They are
integrated , which is why they are so excellent at basically everything
they put out. And given Apple's size now, they drive everything else:
it's the PC manufacturers that are using "cheaper" mass-market parts that
Apple designed/spec'ed and are now manufactured in bulk. Not the other way
around.
