  Well Bill, my gators are in SC and the mosquitoes aren't big enough to
support them (have to go to Texas to get that size mosquito). We have also
had coyotes move into the area about five years ago so I'm sure they will
take their toll on the geese. I have watched a few of the geese nests and
the racoons take a heavy toll on the eggs. But some do hatch. I counted
about a dozen goslings last year which seems like a small success rate for
50 or so geese.
