Hmmm.  You got the way-more-better job.  Nice shot.  :-)

ps:  I used to use straw as a cover for newly seeded grass.  I don't do 
it anymore since I have realized that the local straw is also full of 
the local farmer's yellow nutsedge seed.  Yellow nutsedge used to be 
just a southern weed but has worked its way north.  I call it one of the 
world's worst weeds.

My back yard became infested with it when I had part of the yard 
re-seeded and the guy that did the work used lots of bales of hay to 
cover the seed.  After that the reseeded area was chock full of yellow 
nutsedge.  I've been trying for 5 years to get rid of it.  So far I 
think I've gotten about 90% of it.  There are very few chemicals that 
will kill it (as a lawn weed), they are expensive and are well less than 
100% effective.  Moral of the story:  If you're planting grass find 
something other than straw to cover the germinating seed.
