Of the national parks, there are two which are bullseye. Grand Teton
NP and Smoky Mountain NP. The Tetons are going to be absolutely
packed. I suspect that location will be positively insane. My other
location would be Clingman's Dome. But the problem with both locations
is the sun's elevation above terrain.
Western Nebraska and eastern Wyoming has several places of interest,
including Pine Mountain, Ayres Natural Bridge and Scotts Bluff. The
advantage of going farther west is the sun's elevation is lower, so
you get the opportunity to do more landscapy shots.
