No, that is my point, Chuck:  that the the argument is about how "facts" are 
presented rather than whether or not it is happening.

I know that the IPCC is a large body with perhaps a political element to it 
(political in scientists' terms, not politicians').  I trust that the larger 
proportion of scientists is right, at home and abroad.

And meanwhile I continue to try to save energy where I can: I don't leave 
lights on (or laptops connected) where I don't need them.

De-funding by whom?  Like the UN's de-funding by non-payment, perhaps?
