It's probably good for people who can't justify splashing out that amount of cash all at once. Whereas, a smaller amount per month is manageable. Whole industries have been founded on this principle, so I guess it might work for Adobe. I'll use Lightroom until I can't justify the cost anymore. Long way off, unless they go crazy.
