They were both about 1m long. I was able to get comfortably closer to
the second one since his striking distance was impaired by the shrub he was
beneath.
The Indian Mallow (third and fourth photos) turned out to be Curly
Abutilon (Herissantia crispa), and I've corrected the captions for both
photos.
