Probably a change to the HTML code that handles the actual download. A
change made by your bank on their web page. The coding is probably
compatible with Microsoft's IE but is probably not fully compatible with
internet standards. Chrome has probably just accepted and implemented
Microsoft's version and Firefox hasn't. But that's all just a
semi-educated guess.
If the link doesn't get me into any of your personal data and you want
me to try it send me the link to the page. I'll tell you if it works in
Firefox for Windows. It could also be a bug in the Mac version of Firefox.
