If I had more than $5.27 in my pocket right now I'd be getting it.

However, I am reminded of something. When the E-1 first came out, I
tried it out at Porters in Waterloo, IA. In fact, I tried both the E-1
and A1. Bought the A1 as the E-1 was at least a thousand dollars
higher. Figured I'd wait a while.

Meanwhile, other fantastic cameras came out. I REALLY wanted the
Minolta D7D. What a nice camera. But strangely, what happened is that
certain cameras developed a reputation for reliability, robustness,
handling, etc. By pausing, I learned that the Minolta was a turd and
the E-1 was a tank. I was able to buy the E-1 for a song and have
enjoyed it non-stop ever since.

In the digital era, Olympus has not built any junk. Everything has
been very good and very solid. Yes, the E-3s had some shutter failures
and focus issues, but those usually got worked out pretty quickly.
Nothing else has had a reputation as a turkey. I don't expect the OM-D
to be any different. Yet, there is a part of me that says "wait". You
have no clue how much I want to jump all over this camera, yet my tail
is itching and I've got this strange feeling to wait it out. Not sure
what this is about, but I'm not feeling at all comfortable about it
for some reason.

So I'll wait. Besides, ain't no money at the moment, but I'm sure I
could scare up a grand in a couple days if I tried.
