My Manfrotto/Bogen aluminum tripods can buzz like a hummingbird. I learned
years ago that to achieve maximum stillness I needed to waste about a third
of the length. The new RRS CF tripod (the one which has Bling Factor) seems
to have almost no discernable resonance.
