Thanks for the comments. Chuck, I think the first photo isn't much to look
at when small, but does deserve a second look at "large" size. If you still
don't like it, well, apologies for taking your time :)

Nicholas,
?????????????? personal choice BUT?I would opt for the 28 or 35, 50 , and
85mm combo. Also I would do the trip in Black + White. where are you
going/?Eire or?Northern Ireland. Try to visit the South West coast, Mizzen
Head and the Sheeps Head way,? Some really interesting towns and spectacular
scenery. Have a good trip

John (and others who have asked), we're flying into Dublin, renting a car,
driving west then south and making a loop of the southern part of the island
the first week, then taking a train to N. Ireland the second. One of my
very good friends lives in Newtownards; he's taking us camping, and then to
a rugby match between Ireland and France back in Dublin! I'm bringing
Tri-X, Portra (both new formulas of 160 and 400), and Ektar, and my wife
will have her digital camera. I'm still on the fence about whether I should
bring the 85/2 in place of the 50, but I am dead set on the 35/2, what a
great lens.
Thanks for the comments all, I will share a few (but just a few, don't want
to bore everyone) images upon my return.

-Nic
