There are "two", sort-of. The Sea Anemone (note that this is not a scientific
binomial name with a genus name followed by a species name, but instead
a popular name) is an animal with tentacles which is generally stuck fast to a
rock or other solid substrate. It is called what it is because it could be said
to
resemble the flowering plant.
Anemone is the common name of a flowering plant.
