1. Are name brand lenses (Olympus for example) built better and suffer less
from haze vs generic lenses (Vivitar, Tokina, etc)
I find that hard to believe.
2. Are zoom lenses more susceptible to haze vs. fixed focal length lenses?
And what causes this internal haze?
Yes, as zoom lenses have generally molre elements and more air-glass
surfaces. The haze could result from too much or the wrong lubricant, or it
might be fungus.
