I've heard of 'boom in shot' but 'finger in shot' ? Tsk! :-)
What's it shot with? - the depth of field is fairly shallow.
That seems to be the difference with SLR movies - more 'cinematic'
than regular digicams so you have to be prepared to control DOF more
carefully or learn to pull focus. The new rigs use nice 90deg gears to
pull focus but I'd like to see someone making Hasselblad style focus
ring handles as a cheaper option.
