For the equipment nuts on this list (dioptre gauge?!) - I saw the  
neatest cordless drill ever as I was wheeled in for my first, about  
the size and shape of the Panasonic models. Looked like it was all  
metal with a titanium finish. Surgeon told me later that they are  
sterilisable - they break down into autoclavable components. I want  
one of those!
Orthopaedia is a rough country.
