Brian,
The 15mm was my first foray into the Voigtlander range. I have since
bought a 21,25,35 and 40mm on the basis of the results from my used 15mm. Nuff
Said! At 4.5 or 5.6 the lens is amazing value for money! The fact that it is
the earlier screw thread model is NOT an issue, Optically it is identical to
the later lens.
I fitted the bayonet adapter to enable me to fit it onto my Voigtlander R2 and
Leica M6 ;-O The finder gives an approximation ? of the coverage! Good for
architectural effects, useing deliberate distortion. I leave it to you to work
out how to use filters with this lens!!!Massive depth of field.
I am sure you will enjoy using this lens.
Eagerly awaiting your thoughts on your NEW 6x17 toy..How will you scan and
print the images?
.Regards
