The design spec and marketing for the OM bodies was closer to 2m. I know the
E-1 isn't the same, but I haven't figured it out yet. My solution is to rely
on eyepiece correction. As I'm a bit near-sighted, I have mine adjusted to
about -1 diopter.
My OM-2S was definitely pretty close to that 2m point as for many years my
eyesight was decent at distance and up close, but horrid at the 2m point.
