I am _very_ fond of the mate de coca served everywhere in the Andes
countries. It is refreshing and energizing, and the taste is good too.
Unfortunately it is very hard to get hold of here in Holland. I guess
that it is much easier to buy cocaine here than the mate de coca which
is completely harmless.
It is even illegal to bring mate de coca home from Bolivia or Peru,
because of the very small quantities of "cocaine" the leaves might
yield when processed properly. I believe that it takes one kilo of
coca leaves to make 1 gram of cocaine...
Of course you can buy mate de coca on *bay but the price is far too
high. The brand selling best is Windsor. What's in a name...
BTW are there any list members in Bolivia, Peru or Colombia?
