We didn't want a clinically clean pool but saying that it should stay
clear once equilibrium has been met. I think the swimming area will need
periodic vacuuming, and it does have a pump blowing air into the water
to aireate and also a skimmer to remove the leaves etc. but other than
that it should require less maintenance than a pool and we can iceskate
on it in the winter :-)
