Me too, but instead of picking an alternative I usually consider the
following:  I'm only a few hours (at most) from home and it takes
several days to starve; I'll get there quicker if I don't stop; I
should be eating less anyway.  I'd rather warm up a can of soup in the
comfort of home at journey's end than stop in any fast food joint.
