Thanks for the feed back on the katzeye.
I have been trying to decide on which fast lens... tempted by both your
suggestions as well as two sigmas 30 1.4 and 24 1.8 which is also a
macro.... has anyone any experience with either especially on an E3?
And yes I do use the E3 with the 12-60 for work and play... am collecting
images for my website.

I have used it with my E-1. Metering is always off, but focussing is easier.
I quit using katzeye for that reason. I now have the Digital zuiko 50f2
which
is a very fine lens, and the panaleica 25mm f1.4 which is even nicer
(however somewhat "fat" :).
BTW, I notice you're an architect as well, do you use the E-3
professionally as well?
