Thom Hogan who has some pretty good rumor sources says that PMA in a
couple of weeks will see 14MP sensors in digicams (Yikes!) and in
some DSLRs. Makes one wonder whether the 6D will debut with the
original 1Ds sensor which was close to 14MP. The savings in sensor
development cost and use of the 40D body should help keep the camera
price down. Since DSLR was plural I wonder who will pull another
camera out of the hat and whether it will be a new entry into the
heating up FF race.
