Yes, this was the way it was presented to Nixon which was recorded on 
audio tape as we hear Nixon agreeing that more ways to deny people 
healthcare is a great idea - and approved the start of HMO's.

Republicans are big on attempting to scare people by using the words 
"socialized medicine" in a dark menacing tone whether it has anything to 
do with a well designed efficient universal healthcare plan or not.

At least they've accomplished making sure I'll die if I get very sick.
