Using the "C" setting really makes it no problem. Yes, there should be a

Somewhere in these endless threads, you talked about the need for an
option to see the top LCD info on the back LCD. The 40D does this, both
for summary info and making settings. So it will likely show up on the
5D replacement.
Someone else wanted dedicated EV setting outside of menus. On the 5D,
the second on position makes the back wheel into just that once the
shutter release has been half pressed. Quite handy.
