The Samsung I mentioned in the other post replaced my old Trinitron CRT.
One day I noticed that the image adjustment menu was all gabled, and about a
week later it just did not turn on any more.  It was about 5-6 years old.

And as I said in my previous post, I can recommend Samsung, but be aware
that I have no personal experience with any other brands, I am just very
happy with mine.
