Don't know about the others, but Pentax now only shares optical design
resources with Tokina due to their vast R&D capabilities. Production
design, manufacturing, tolerances, glass choice (supplied by their owner
Hoya), and coatings are all done by Pentax in their own factories. For
example the Tokina 12-24mm doesn't perform nearly as well, nor built as
well as the Pentax lighter version that also has quick release clutch
internally - though optically they were designed on the same Tokina
computers.
