I never ever access any place that wants a password through a link in an
e-mail.

If it is pay pal or E-Bay and I'm not on a computer where I have saved the
book mark, I google for the address, go in that way and if there isn't a
note for me.... so be it, it was a scam.
Here are the address's to send you Pay Pal and E-Bay queries to if you are
uncertain.
Spoof@xxxxxxxxxx (spoof@xxxxxxxxxx)
spoof@xxxxxxxx (spoof@xxxxxxxx)

AND, if it is another site and you are uncertain, go to their page and use
anything BUT your password and see what happens :-) Now they'll think they
have it and just spin their wheels.

These buggers are getting more and more advanced...  My rule when I get
something asking me to change passwords etc and I am not 100% it is a fraud,
is to type the proper site url directly into my browser, go myself to the
personal settings page and make the changes.  I never click on any of those
changeyouraddress or provide/updatepersonalinfo links provided in the emails
