My 50-200 died shortly after I got it. It was completely dead as I
recall. It wouldn't manual focus or AF. I believe I sent it to Olympus
in southern California. I haven't used it very much since, but it
hasn't shown any problems. It was covered under warranty.

I believe my phone call had to be transfered but once they connected
me to people familiar with E-System gear everything went very smooth.
